Electronic in the Tower 3

TDC Tunes, Rocco LDN and 2 Digit Visuals took over the Tower for a night of immersive electronic music and visualisations.

Rocco LDN & TDC Tunes

TDC Tunes and Rocco LDN performed their newly released single Second Time Around as well as their track Cosmic and yet to be released tracks: Give In, Indigo, Go Back and Self Love.

They also for the first time presented an improvised section of their set together - an unscripted vocal improv from Rocco LDN accompanied by keys from TDC Tunes.

TDC Tunes conducted two new ‘experiments’ for Electronic in the Tower 3:

Experiment 1. Everything but the Kitchen Sink

2x playable copper kettles and 2x metallic colanders on stands connected to TDC Tunes via crocodile clips and wires to form a playable ‘circuit’.

Experiment 2. Live radio sound source

Using a tiny live FM radio as a source sound tuned into a random station, TDC Tunes fed the output in the modular and then incorporated that into the set with various chopping, re-pitching, reversing and other techniques to create experimental music that could never be repeated!

2 Digit Visuals

2 Digit Visuals (aka Sadler) was back again with his stunning visuals - presented live throughout the evening, reacting to the music as part of the performance.

He has been perfecting his technique for narrative visuals, expanding his visuals and developing his style for nearly a decade using generative, real-time interactive techniques alongside machine learning and audio-reactive algorithms to create a unique visual experience.
