The Piccolo

An electronic track primarily created on a modular synth with the unlikely title (and sample from) the tiny half sized wind instrument: The Piccolo!

TDC Tunes is exploring different ways to use and capture his live modular sets and use them in released music and this track is the result of that.

The majority of sounds are recorded directly from the modular - even the piccolo sample itself is loaded into and then manipulated in the modular. With that and the edgy percussion it has resulted in a complex and unusual track

TDC Tunes loves blending different sounds and production techniques and breaking genre boundaries!

The Piccolo is part of Electronic Music Alliance's Future Sounds Anthology 3.0 - an album showcasing brand new electronic music from 23 different artists!
